I have never seen a Schapendoes! What ...Hi, Paula!<br /><br />I have never seen a Schapendoes! What fun. <br /><br />That was an interesting thought from the Aussie mom about Aussies being bred for agility. I think that working dogs, given their natural instinct for work, are adept at agility trials because the "work" interests them and gives their agile minds something fun to do! <br /><br />I think agility is huge here in the USA. We've seen some agility trials, mostly as part of sheep dog trials or working horse shows. Check out this link: <br /><br />http://www.usdaa.com/aboutUs.cfm<br /><br />Wow! It seems like a great pastime for folks who want to own a working breed especially but can't actually work the dog at herding - and are wise enough to know the pup must have an interesting and active life!
